Proof of Delivery (POD)

Epicor Kinetic Proof of Delivery (POD) – a component of the EKW application.  POD effortlessly tracks deliveries via real-time digital signatures and photos, allowing for additional documentation to ensure a comprehensive delivery record. POS enables logistics teams to conduct quick, accurate, and paperless deliveries.
Running on handheld devices with 6.0.1 Android and higher and IOS, the software has the modern and intuitive interface expected of any mobile application.

How does it work?

Epicor Kinetic POD starts with the user identifying the list of deliveries for a route from a consolidated list across Customer Shipments, Master Packs and Transfer Orders. This is then passed through the Route Optimisation Engine which identifies the most efficient route for the list selected. Once the optimum route is determined, integration with mapping software like Google Maps helps navigate to the delivery location. The user can then launch the map for the next delivery on the route. 

Once the delivery location is reached the app displays relevant details for the customer shipment, including the number of pack lines on the selected pack. An ability to view those line details is available.

Paperless Proof of Delivery is quickly and easily achieved by a sign on glass capture for the signature and a photo capture with the device camera. Users can also attach files from the device internal storage to associate with this delivery.

This same functionality exists for shipments to customers, for Transfer Orders, or if users are shipping Master Packs.

Epicor Kinetic POD Lite is a streamlined version of POD, which provides the sign on glass signature and picture or file capture functionality for Paperless Proof of Delivery. Attachments are stored in Epicor ERP.

Route Optimisation Engine and mapping is not available on POD Lite. For POD Lite, the users select a desired Pack Slip number, filtering options are available to display only packs for a specific Ship Status, Stage Number (Route Number), or Ship Date.
